Many important events are going on in the metaverse. Taco Bell is collaborating with Decentraland to launch a competition for engaged couples who could have a chance to get married virtually in a legalised ceremony. Everything from wedding invitations to wedding food would be virtual. The event is going to be live streamed and the couple will get a marriage certificate memento NFT. Animoca Brands Japan, on the other hand, has raised $45 million, collected from parent brand Animoca Brands and MUFG Bank, to develop its Web3 business and secure licences for intellectual property. Another big news is that Yumon has released its Creator Fantasy League, hailed as the first player-owned creator fantasy world. It will feature collectibles that will turn Twitch streamers and YouTubers into game fantasy heroes. Lastly, NFT marketplace X2Y2 announced that buyers would decide what amount of royalties they would pay for an NFT project. Many have disagreed with the proposition, considering that many creators might not get any royalties for their projects. But X2Y2 has claimed that nothing is set in stone yet.
