Ben & Jerry’s is stepping up to reduce its greenhouse gas footprint

Ben & Jerry’s, Clover Sonoma, and Family Creamery are making efforts to reduce their greenhouse gas footprint across their farm operations. Moving forward, the above-mentioned brands would use The Blue Ocean Barns’ natural seaweed supplement named Brominata for their cows. Brominata is dedicated to reduce cows’ methane emissions by more than 80% and produce milk and meat of the same taste. This supplement is certified by The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) as a digestive aid for cattle.
