Gartner, a Connecticut-based technological research and consulting firm, published its 2022 Global Supply Chain Top 25 List, which included companies from various industries with the best-performing supply chain systems. CPG industry firms dominated other industries, acquiring prominent positions with Schneider Electric in the second position, Colgate-Palmolive in the third spot, while Johnson & Johnson and PepsiCo secured fourth and fifth positions respectively. Other prominent CPG brands among 25 listed firms include Intel, Nestlé, Lenovo, L’Oréal, The Coca-Cola Company, and General Mills. The research firm listed companies on the basis of the evolution of the chief supply chain officer (CSCO) role, self-stabilising supply chains, a broader sustainability agenda, and human-centric digital automation.
