General Mills has entered into the animal-free dairy category by rolling out its new brand named Bold Cultr. The firm has launched cream cheese featuring Perfect Day’s dairy proteins processed via fermentation. Consumers would be able to purchase the dairy items from the company’s website or Hy-Vee stores in Minnesota. General Mills is the first food retailer to launch products made from animal-free dairy proteins. The Modern Kitchen Brand rolled out cream cheese made from animal-free dairy proteins in late September this year, while General Mills is the second one, offering consumers a variety of options to choose from.
