Hindustan Unilever releases POND’S WebAR game on Vossle



Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has created a web-based digital Augmented Reality Game on Vossle, which is a SaaS platform that creates a Metaverse WebAR experience. The move was chiefly made to increase engagement with the customers. POND’S, HUL’s top brand, would be making use of this by superimposing digital information over the physical environment with its Super Light Gel creams. This would increase immersion and interaction by 60X compared to traditional methods. POND’S also launched a D2C website,, to sell directly to customers. The Vossle game doesn’t require an app to function but can be accessed through the mobile camera and web browser.
