Kraft Heinz has entered into a joint venture with Pulpex to pilot and develop renewable and recyclable paper-based bottles made from 100% sustainably sourced wood pulp. The company claimed to be the first CPG firm to use Pulpex’s paper packaging for its ketchup sauce. The CPG giant announced that they are currently in the process of creating a prototype to pilot its use across Kraft Heinz’s condiments. Almost every food and beverage CPG giant has transformed its packaging design to reduce its environmental footprint. However, few of them have implemented changes on a broader level, while some are testing prototypes.
