The snack giant, Mondelēz, is making investments to become the e-commerce giant

Mondelēz International, Inc. is ambitious to achieve 20% of its sales from digital commerce by 2030. According to the chief marketing and sales officer, Martin Renaud, 80% of Mondelēz’s online sales are generated via the B2C model. He further mentioned that the other two e-commerce models also have the potential to generate significant revenue. One is the D2C model, constituting 15% of Mondelēz’s sales, and the other one is the B2B model, achieving 5% of digital sales. Dirk Van de Put, chairman and chief executive officer of the company, said that the snack giant is dedicated to invest $1 billion in digital commerce to become the digital commerce leader in the snack industry.
